Well, we are just about to start the new season on the Canning Stock Route. This is an exciting moment for both passenger and guide. As we set off from Perth, the two day trip to Wiluna serves as a “warm up” to the real outback. The big city we leave behind is replaced by long stretches of road sided by a drying landscape.

Wiluna is our last connection to civilisation, we drive a few kilometres to reach the small and easily missed turn off to the entrance of the Canning Stock Route. From there on, this is it; the isolation, the wallabies and kangaroos welcoming us, the small tyre tracks in front of us. And you know for a fact that this little track is 2000km long!

The adventure has begun, we are from now “on our own”; freedom is reached, nothing is in your way. You are going Bush!
