A terrific journey into the desert, ever changing and beautifull landscapes, a must for all desert lovers.

Exprim tour gave me the opportunity to see all that in the best possible comfort (the food was excellent) and in all security despite the very challenging environement.

Canning Stock Route August 2005

When a friend suggested to me we do a tour of the Canning Stock Route, I was a trifle dubious.

I had done almost twenty years working up north and I thought I knew the lot. What a misapprehension I was under.
Some two month ago I met Eric Chantelat of Exprim Tours. He unfolded the desert areas which I claimed I knew so well; animal life, bird life, vegetation, physiographical wells, Eric was brilliant.

Better was to follow; his bon appetite cooking; roast, desert tacos under the stars to mention a few. One has to be discreet though. On my return, my wife took exception to my liberal praise for the desert chef & I was soon jerked back to reality.
In conclusion, we travelled the Stock Route in a long wheeled base Land Cruiser. The vehicle lacked nothing as we had an extremely experienced guide with us. I thought his safety measures were of the highest standard.

My mate and I (along with Eric) had a truly wonderful time on the Canning Stock Route.
